Working with an International University was a first for us, but we were eager to embrace the challenge. Pulling together our team of designers, developers, photographers, and managers, we sent three separate groups to Honduras to fully scope out the project, connect with the organization’s project managers, gather key materials, and ultimately perform final integration and training.

Zamorano needed a thorough planning phase to be sure the project went smoothly and accomplished all that it needed to. Next, the design team set out to create a site that was both strong and subtle, drawing visitors in, but allowing for easy access to content and featuring the beautiful photos of its stunning campus and lovely students. As always, following the design was the development phase in which the design was converted to xhtml/css and was integrated with the WordPress content management system. A stellar communications department at the University was eager to dive in and assist with content entry, and much training was covered during this phase. At the end of the site development phase, our project manager from Spain traveled to Honduras to finalize integration with NetCommunity (non-profit fundraising software) and help with tying up the last pieces. On October 15, 2010 (yes, there were MANY projects going on over the last month), we watched proudly as Zamorano was launched into cyberspace.
